iv just read a press relece for Suicide is painless and it says that Callie and Arizona are going to have a difference in oppion about what there futore holds.... here is it word for word...

Oh poo! Hmm well i guess this is where they and all of us will find out what is gonna happen with them i think, where we find out if Callie and Arizona are in it for the long haul or if what has become my favorite couple will be breaking up. I hope they can work through their differences.

I hate these descriptions they could mean anything about the future. It makes you crazy. I hope the problem is resolved by the end of the episode and doesn't go past one episode. I feel like out of all the couples these two belong together. If they break up I don't know if I will continue to watch.

I have a feeling it will be resolved. I read the casting sides for this ep a while ago (which seems to be available now) for a patient case which appears to be Callie's, and the dialogue seems to be uplifting at the end.

I think I remember reading that about 2 or 3 months ago. The story was about some college friends. In the end the guys made a decision to keep going on vacations together. And the doctor left the room knowing they would go on less dangerous vacations in the future. So maybe the problem will be resolved by the end and won't linger on. I think C/A story will be the less focused on story because the other two seem to be bigger story wise. But it seems like this will be about compromise maybe.

I will be totally depressed if they break up.. I love these two soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much and they're practically why i actually watched it..

In a weird way, I'm kinda excited to see a serious plot line like this about Callie and Arizona because Grey's is going to be more likely to push their relationship to the forefront, rather than just have it as more of a background thing like they do now. The more drama the more screen time!

hmm ... the plot kinda bothers me a bit but i read in an interview with JCap where she said that AZ and Callie had a huge fight or something and almost break up but they've settled their differences . oh! i do hope they don't ruin this relationship! it's soo much fun to watch them together. i'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Which interview are you referring to, sherry? I don't remember coming across a JCap interview where she gets specific about plotlines. I only remember her saying some vague stuff about how they are bound to come across hurdles down the road but that they are solid at the moment.

Or maybe we'll see new sides of Callie and AZ. Callie's allready stated that she'd like marriage and kids 'some day'... maybe AZ's not up for that... right now?

Well... just rambling, have no idea really, and it's scary Hopefully they'll work it out, thinking of the 'comitted, adult, loving relationship' they're actually in! They're STRONG!

A difference in opinion can mean anything, right!! like arizona not wanting to have kids, because she works with them and callie wanting kids. i really hope it doesn't come to anything bad, it just wouldn't be good if they brake up, they go well together.I am a HUGE fan of the show but have liked it even more since Jessica Capshaw has joined.

@swedish fish it's a recording that you can access via a provider like Itunes. For Grey's each week the writers of the show record about a half hour to 45 mins on the theme of the week a bit of their thoughts and they trail next weeks episode. but you can get podcasts on a whole range of topics eg.I downloaded travel podcasts that were travel guides when I went to Amsterdam for the week.

as long as both of them survive the episode without dying or one of them skinning someone alive, I'll see it as a positive.

Oh, how low my expectations have dropped when it comes to lesbian couples on tv.

Greys is a relationship drama, so it has to be expected that Callie & Arizona will have a bit of an upset to their "happy commited adult relationship" every so often. Looking on the bright side, at least it will mean screen time for them as a couple. YAY!

And honestly, my life is so content and boring that I kinda like a little angst on screen As long as it all works out in the end.

Spring Break this week, so I can' watch this live on a big tv

I'm going to try and think of this as a positive...

-more screen time
-more similarities (i.e., conflict) to the straight couples on the show, which could lead people who don't like same-sex couples possibly seeing that they're not really different...maybe they won't. I can hope though right?
-Talk of a future hints that there is a future Once again a maybe, but I'm crossing my fingers.

This could really be interesting...I'm with AJ; I can handle some conflict as long as they're together in the end...preferably the end of the episode

Im thinkin its about kids because i remember reading an interview where Jcap says something about most PEDs surgeons not wanting kids and we all know that Callie does. But the more logical step forward for them right now would have to do with moving in together cause like idk i feel like it would be a little early for the kids fight already. but ya never know, the writers have already made illogical jumps in their relationship progress(ex. the girlfriends thing and the sexy part of the relationship being after the i love yous, etc)

Really? Was it a recent tweet? I heard that she's been cast in a pilot a couple of weeks ago and was relieved.

I just saw it today. She was cast in a pilot but she said she was flying back from fake Seattle to I think Mexico. Didn't Shonda say she didn't do babies on GA? I hope she doesn't have the baby with her. Hopefully she is just coming back for more money and doesn't leave a baby.

i read that same tweet. i think she comes back and wants mark and callie to take care of her baby.. naturally, arizona is going to be upset because she was not asked or even informed.. this would rock the boat regarding a future.. and callie might have to choose between mark and arizona.. all speculation of course.

@ Emily, you are so right about the writers. That's been my concern as soon as I saw who wrote this ep. They always seem to be a little off on the timeline.

i seriously don't think they would go from a loving committed relationship to nothing. (similar to erica?) hopefully they learned their lesson.

Oh, PLUS! If they really plan to mess Calzona up, they must be giving us hot, hot, and hot scenes with them like for 30 minutes or something like that!

I totally agree with Emily, i think it is quite early for kids, even though i did mention it but i have had a re-think, it's probably just about the living arrangements right. I'm hoping, I'm staying positive, I'm stuck at home with a broken leg, so it's like the highlight of my week. i think it will be ok as long as they don't finish the episode on a fight, cause that would just be mean to make us wait like that.

i think it probably has something to do with living together!! although it hasn't been mentioned they seem as though they are living at callie's as there is no mention of arizona having a place of her own!? it might be to do with cristina living with them?! or the whole callie offering to look after the baby with mark and not telling her. there has been a lot of calzona scenes this season in comparison to some of the other couples showing they are liked. also due to past scandals i'm sure shonda wouldn't break them up (not for long anyway!)

I agree with you Ashleigh...I don't think Shonda would break them up forever, and I really don't she would right now.

I think all you guys might be right about the baby thing possibly being the cause. I seriously hope it's not because that will be REALLY messy

funnily enough it seems to me that every time Calzona is actually mentioned in the episode summary they really don't have much going on in the episode.

that being said 1 of 2 things popped into my head of what this could be about...1)Arizona wants Callie to consider moving in together alone.
2)Arizona looks ahead past Seattle Mercy but Callie likes Seattle Mercy and wants to stay put.

Hi it is my first time I post something here. I come here often to read the summary until there are some clips available to watch. It is nice to read all the comments. Thanks for sharing all that info. I am European and we only started season 6 recently.
I am very curious to find out what they will fight about. I also guess that one of the two wants to take a next step by living together. Callie already told her dad that she would marry and wanted to have children...so I guess that maybe Callie will be the one who sees that bright future. However I thought that Arizona also would like that. I do not know... just dying to find out in what they have a different opinion.... As a lot of you already said, at least they have a story that episode together... Fingers crossed it ends like we like it!

This is just a few crazy ideas.

01. Money
I don’t know if Callie got her trust fund back. Maybe there is talk about moving in together and they have a difference of opinion about it.

Eg. Callie wants to buy a big expensive house/department in an upper class neighborhood.

Arizona is an independent woman and the expensive house could make her feel like a kept woman. She wants them both to pay for things equally.

02. Baby-talk
Last week’s episode Callie told Mark to get his act together. A desperate Mark trying to settle down asks his best friend Callie to have his child.

This is a flashback episode for Hunt and it could also trigger something in Arizona and expands the tiny coffins comment of season 5.

03. The Exes
We don’t know much about Arizona’s past girlfriends. Maybe Callie or something triggers a bad relationship/experience from the past.

Or Arizona knows about Callie’s past (mostly by gossip) and they finally talk about it but the green-eye monster gets ugly.

04. The Authority issue
Any ideas?

I think that it will probably be something small, blown out of peroration.

In the end it will make their relationship stronger.
