She said that she watched "some very cute Callie & Arizona kissing in a cut of an upcoming episode" at the time, and the only ep that had finished filming when she said that was 6.10.

Then someone responded to her tweet about Cristina/Owen hotness coming up, saying that it was unfair and cruel. Shonda tweeted back that she did not say that there was no hot kissing. At the time, maybe they were in the process of filming 6.11 and there is indeed more action between C&A. Who knows...

I'll need a little time before I can restore my faith in what Shonda says.

A friend of mine told me about an article she read that is about GA romances. It's at twitter.com/yahooTV. Callie and Arizona's paragraph is titled "Getting Settled". And it is kind of cute how they explain their relationship. When you go to the twitter you have to go to the November 18th post at 5:51 pm.

Thanks for posting it, Tristan. I checked it out. I love that people think that they are going to last. Hope the writers are on the same page as well and don't pull the rug from underneath us. Legit conflicts are fine, but I worry what the writers have in their kooky minds for next season.

I keep waiting and waiting for some hot scenes to come along. The stairwell kiss has been by far the hottest and the naked in bed w/ pizza was good. I mean seriously, Calliope and Erica were kinda together what a total of 8-9 episodes? and had more action in the first three episodes(plus numerous dirty talk, kisses, etc) than out of a whole lotta months, this is my girlfriend, and I love yous later for Calliope and Arizona. Don't get me wrong the kissing is cute...but we need more! equal amounts of lovin' as the rest of the couples, especially since Arizona is very touchy feely and Calliope has had a very high sex drive in the past...

I'm glad they did "kiss," but I really hope that there's more coming up and this tweet isn't bending reality. I mean, they did say "I love you," not "I think you're kind of attractive, and I wouldn't mind touching you." :p

Also...why was Callie absent from dinner? I didn't really think that was necessary, and I would LOVED to have heard Callie singing with Arizona.

i know what you mean.. like all of a sudden Callie is all self controlled??? how did that happen?

i can't really imagine Arizona being very shy about sex and such either... just seems out of character for them to be standing 12 thousand miles apart in every scene. i get that they sometimes have to do that for the camera angles and stuff but seriously has nobody ever heard of a wide/long shot... we'd giv up a little of the expressive face acting for a little physical contact haha

I completely agree with you...it does seem really out of character for them to be so far away from each other because both of them seem to be the touchy type .

I forgot to mention this in my last post, but I really like that they're starting to involve Arizona more in the show now

yeah, I like how Arizona is getting storylines of her own (as a regular cast member, not a guest star), and forming relationships with other characters, she isn't just a girlfriend/plot device for Callie.

I'm really pleased that Arizona gets scenes with almost every other character. It also helps that Jessica seems to have chemistry with everyone.

I mean don't get me wrong I liked the episode but come on make it a bit more realistic! All the scenario's the writers have come up with for the couple are very intimate and personal i.e Callie coming out to Dad, yet they are still lacking physical intimacy !! It's so frustrating that they keep tiptoeing around Callie and Arizona's relationship.
