Thanks for visiting Callie & Arizona Corner! As the new season gets underway, I will be posting updated news, sneak peeks, and spoilers (with proper warning, of course) on our favorite couple, so check back often!
I will also be blogging my comments/recap after each episode airs. You are all welcome to comment on my posts at the bottom. Look forward to hearing from you guys!

About time we got another Callie and Arizona spoiler. I was beginning to think that they were going to be non-existent this season. Ausiello posted the following in his spoiler column today (after the jump).
So the big spoiler reveal occurred at noon today, simultaneously on various TV and entertainment sites. It is probably difficult to avoid it since it's all over the place now, but just in case you are spoiler-phobic, I'll put it after the jump.
Real life has been very hectic lately, but I'm back with more timely updates! As we know, Shonda had to cut 18 minutes of the season finale. Someone was kind enough to post the Calzona scenes from the extended DVD (available on Sep. 14) on Youtube. This compilation from includes all three deleted scenes, which in my unbiased opinion, should have been included in lieu of some other ones.
So about that gigantic spoiler from a couple of weeks ago... we will be able to find out sooner (in fact, a lot sooner) than we think. Read on for the details.
Sara did an interview with Latina.com, in which she talks at length about Callie and Arizona. This article makes references to the new season, so just a caution to those who would prefer to stay completely spoiler free. The full interview can be found here. My thoughts after the jump.
Finally! A somewhat substantial spoiler from MegaBuzz. Good thing that JCap was at the ABC Summer Press Tour to give us some bread crumbs on Callie and Arizona. Spoilers after the jump!
SheWired posted a new and lengthy interview with Sara Ramirez. She talked about everything from her foundation to Grey's, including her role and her singing in the Christmas episode. Below is what she had to say when was asked specifically about Callie and Arizona in the new season:
Can you give us an inside scoop into the new season of Grey’s Anatomy and what fans can expect?
We just had our first read through yesterday for season seven! It was really exciting and total first day of school vibes. Everyone was really excited to see each other because we’d been off for a couple of months. We were all either refreshed or exhausted because if someone just came off of another job. We all caught up and it was just such good energy. We read the first two episodes, which are going to be really awesome! There is going to be a major surgery within the first episode, of course, and everyone is coming back from being “away."
Callie and Arizona are together again – that is where we left off at the end of season six. I’m excited to see how their relationship evolves, but moreso, I am really appreciative of how universal the scenes seem to be. We lightly touch upon, “oh, yeah, we’re dealing with two women”, but we don’t comment on it constantly, which is really cool. It manages to be just like any other relationship. There are ups and downs, there’s conflict, there’s making up, etc. There are issues and some issues are more specific than others and we will cross those bridges, too. I am just excited that we are going to be exploring this relationship some more in a way that has integrity and respect. It isn’t just a comment on “a gay relationship” like one big joke. It’s actually kind of as meaningful and as serious as Meredith and Derek or Christina and Owen. You know, it’s just as important.
All in all, a very lovely interview with Sara, which we always expect from her. The entire interview can be found here.
And a jolly hellooo to all! Now that Season 7 has begun filming, goodies are starting to trickle in. Anything Callie and Arizona-related will of course be posted on my blog. I am also posting news and spoilers related to Grey's in general, as they become available, in the spoiler thread on the forum. Check back often for updates.
I hope everyone's doing well and staying somewhat sane during the break. Filming resumes next week, and we are almost halfway through the four months. As promised, I'm going back to do a couple of reviews on season 5 episodes, starting with Episode 20 - "Sweet Surrender". Read on for my full review.
The hardest part of the summer break is over because filming will resume in a couple of weeks and Krista Vernoff has started tweeting again. That means tidbits about the new season will start to trickle in soon. Krista said the following on Twitter last night:

We learned from Jessica yesterday that she's due sometime in October. If filming starts up in mid-July and assuming that she sticks around until September before she goes off on mat leave, she should be in at least the first 5 eps of the season (filming takes around 9 or 10 days per ep). Last year, they aired 10 eps by the end of November, which means by the end of September, they should have 5 or 6 done. This is purely speculation on my part based on what we know about their shooting schedule and the prior season. Hopefully, she will pre-shoot some scenes so we won't get a string of Arizona-free episodes in the middle of the season.
By the way, I've set up a chatroom (that always stays open) to members who have registered on the forum. Just another option to communicate with fellow Calzona fans who happen to be online at the same time.
