Grey's ratings were again similar to the prior couple of weeks, with total viewers lower compared to before the holidays but once again coming in first among the 18-49 age group. Read on for my full review.
An insanely cute and hilarious sneak peek of the V-Day episode that is coming up this Thurs, with Callie/Arizona/Bailey/gas man. Cannot. Wait. The video and my speculation after the jump.
Once again, the chatroom will be open this Thursday evening from around 8:30 pm Eastern Standard Time (30 minutes before the episode airs). Should be a lively discussion given the fair amount of Callie and Arizona screen time (even if they're in separate scenes) the ep is supposed to have.
The sneak peeks for 6.13 are up at TVOvermind. There is one with both Callie and Arizona and a couple more funny ones with Callie. Looks to be an interesting episode!

ABC Medianet released the press release for 6.14:
"Valentine's Day Massacre" -- It's Valentine's Day, and the doctors must treat dozens of injured people after the roof collapses at a popular romantic restaurant; Derek tries to manage his busy schedule as Chief of Surgery; Meredith wrestles with her new duties as the Chief's wife; and Mark and Callie team up to convince Sloan to do the right thing for her baby, on "Grey's Anatomy," THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 11 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network
Large versions of the promo stills can be found on SpoilerTV. There are a couple of Arizona and Callie ones but in scenes with other characters.

After coming back from almost a two-month hiatus, Grey's ratings were lower than usual in terms of total viewers, but its competitors also hit new lows. However, Grey's once again came in first among the 18-49 age group. Read on for my full review.
ABC Advisory Board Panel has a short new Grey's Anatomy poll up, in which they ask for our opinion on "Blink" and about crossovers in general. It would be a good idea to give ABC a positive response on the hot shower scene, just to encourage them to keep it up. :)

Here's the press release for 6.13, titled "State of Love and Trust". Time for another Arizona storyline. Yay!
“State of Love and Trust” – As Derek begins his role as interim chief, he faces a potential lawsuit when Bailey and Meredith’s patient awakens from anesthesia mid-surgery. Meanwhile, Teddy refuses to place Cristina on her service, as Arizona tests Alex out in Pediatrics, and Mark refuses to speak to a heartbroken Lexie.

A reader asked Matt Roush of TV Guide a question about Kim Raver/Teddy and mentions Jessica/Arizona. Below is an excerpt of it:
"...I think because she was introduced so quickly, there was no time for us to get to know Teddy even though in GA time she had been there for a while. Even Jessica Capshaw was on for more episodes before being promoted to regular cast and she seems to be a better actress than Raver, and was at least able to gain some sort of a fan base. I think partly it has to do with Shonda Rhimes wanting to find a home for people on her other failed project and but the storyline just seems so rushed and contrived at the sake of the mature storyline that they had last season which is really a shame. Thoughts?" —Maya

Honestly? Huge over-reaction on any fan’s part not to give this character a chance. You admitted at the start of this rant that she’s only been on a few times so far. Who’s to say she won’t get some kickass material down the road? (I never saw Jessica Capshaw growing a spine the way she has done this season, justifying her addition to the ensemble.) One danger I see rather frequently in Grey’s fandom is viewers becoming so attached to a character or a couple that they spew venom on any storyline or character that rocks the boat—in this case, Cristina/Owen fans hating the very idea of Teddy. I get it, but I rarely agree with it.
THANK YOU Shonda for sharing this incredible photo of JCap and Sara Callie and Arizona on her Twitter background. I think my heart skipped a beat when I saw it. Such radiant smiles... love their hair, too. What's even more adorable is that Sara took the picture. Not sure when it was taken, but Jessica has on the same jacket as what Arizona wore in "Invest in Love", and Sara may be wearing her jacket from the that ep. It's difficult to tell with the collar, but JCap's hair looks a a little shorter than in the latest eps that we've seen.

Okay, Shonda just tweeted that it was taken recently. That makes me happy, if JCap really trimmed her hair. Hee. Also, if you look closely, you can see that Jessica is wearing a scrub top.

Hmm... good to know. Okay, I just changed the title of my entry from Jessica and Sara to Callie and Arizona for accuracy's sake. Actually, when I was saving the picture from Shonda's background the other day, I did notice that the file name was something like: 2callieandarizona4shonda.jpg. I had an inkling that they might have been in character. But then their smiles put me in a trance and then I thought no more of it...
