I have been waiting a while for AfterEllen to land an interview with Jessica, so it was lovely to see it posted on their site last night. JCap responds to some specific questions posed by AE regarding Callie and Arizona and LGBT visibility on television. Definitely worth a read, and feel free to share your thoughts on the forum. Kristin of E! Online posted a short interview with Jessica, presumably done at the ABC Summer Press Tour. Kristen tried to get the scoop on Season 7, but the interview is not particularly spoilery as JCap was pretty tight-lipped. The article is here.

Being pregnant is not stopping Jessica from doing her part to promote the show, as she made an appearance at the Disney and ABC Summer Press Tour on August 1. Quite a trooper. This makes it the second year in a row that she has participated in this event. Click on "read more" for more pictures.

As we know, Jessica and her family have a home in the Hamptons, so naturally, Hamptons magazine has a feature on her in their latest "Summer Love" issue. Aside from speaking briefly about Arizona, she talks about the things she loves about the Hamptons and shares her favorite digs in the neighborhood. Matt Mitovich of Fancast posted an interview with JCap, which, in my humble my opinion, happens to be one of her more interesting interviews since she talks about at length about Arizona and shares her personal thoughts on the character. Also, she reveals that she will work until the end of her pregnancy and then take some time off to be with the baby. Below is a snippet of it:

What do you love most about Arizona?
I love what I feel like I learn from her, which is that you can be plucky and funny and nice and sweet and humorous and outrageous and overenthusiastic – all positive traits – while having an opinion and saying no. In my life having a different viewpoint has been seen as a negative thing, so I feel like I’ve learned that you can be who you are and say no. It’s like, “Yeah, she needs to be dirtied up,” but at the same time she’s kind of dirty in a perfect way. She’s never sweet for sweet’s sake and she’s never compromising.

A pregnant Jessica has been working hard during her break from shooting Grey's. She is currently in Vancouver filming "One Angry Juror", a TV movie. An article in the Vancouver Observer provides some details about the movie:

"Based on a true story, the film follows an aggressive corporate attorney, Sarah (Capshaw), who gets an unexpected call to jury duty for the trial of Walter Byrd, who is accused of murder. Peter plays Eric in the film, an attorney like Sarah, and a member of the jury deciding the fate of Walter Byrd. Directed by Paul A. Kaufman, Produced by Harvey Kahn, with Executive Producers Craig Baumgarten and Adam Merims, the film is currently in production in Vancouver."

Will keep you posted regarding air times once it has been announced.

The Real eStalker has an article about JCap's former house, which she sold to Aimee Osbourne back in 2007. Along with various photos of her modern chic home, the article provides quite a bit of detail on the property, including selling price (nearly $2 million), location, and size, among other things.
